Abzena Appoints SVP of San Diego Ops

Abzena, a Partner Research Organization (PRO) for biopharmaceutical outsourced services, has appointed Matthew LeClair as Senior Vice President and Site Head of its San Diego Operations.   

Matt has more than 29 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, and previously held roles at Takeda, including Site Head in Singapore and Site Head of the Milford, MA facility. Prior to joining Takeda, Matthew was at Stryker Biotech.   

Matthew brings extensive experience of multiple technology transfers, developing site expansion plans, and ensuring start-up and licensure of manufacturing suites.  He has also previously achieved manufacturing success through the deployment of several operational excellence initiatives.
